I’m in the process of updating my 2×10 drivetrain to a 1×12 Shimano XT M8100 series.
As far as the chain ring is concerned, maybe cassette, is it better to use Wolftooth instead of Shimano?

Kind of following up on this, but a little different. My wife has a shimano mt510-1 1×12 with a 32T chainring. She would like to go down to a 28T chainring, but the smallest mt510-1 we have seen is 30T.
Can anybody recommend a 28T chain ring that would be an easy swap?
